The Mirewood Marshlands, a realm adjacent to the Feywild, had fallen under the dark influence of the Witch Morvina. The Fairy Queen, concerned for the delicate balance of nature, sought Aelarion's aid in driving out the hags and restoring harmony to the marshlands. Embracing the queen's plea, Aelarion ventures forth from the enchanted realms of the Feywild into the mortal realm. As they traversed the boundaries between worlds, their appearance shifted and transformed, reflecting the ever-changing nature of the seasons. Aelarion arrived in the Mirewood Marshlands, their presence marked by a captivating aura of otherworldly beauty.
